North West Transit Corridor 

The requirements are : – namely

• maintain a minimum in flight visibility of 5 KM *

• use the Manchester or Liverpool QNH (altimeter) setting

• fly below 1500 feet AMSL 

• keep the indicated airspeed below 140 KTS

Whilst it is not now mandatory it is recommended that a listening watch is maintained whilst squawking 7366.

Also from the Crewe end of the corridor to Stretton there is a slightly wider band on the Eastern side.

And finally – fly an aircraft with a Maximum Certified Take-Off Mass of 40,000 KG or less.
