We do NOT accept PPG (powered paraglider) aircraft

The airstrip is not permanently manned but is open to members and visitors, providing they have read the safety briefs and telephoned the PPR line.
PPR is essential (number on home screen) First-time visiting pilots should ask for a telephone briefing. Landing fee £5, No fuel, maintenance, hangarage, fire cover, overnight parking or other facilities available. Nearest fuel is at Barton.


Movements must be logged in the book kept in the clubhouse.


Runway has slight incline down from 23 threshold to midpoint, then up to 05 threshold. Surface may be undulating and coarse in places. Pilots should be familiar with the advice given in CAA Safety Sense leaflet 12, “Strip Flying”, and are advised to transmit intentions on new Safetycom 135.480 MHz.

There is a new access track as shown above.  You will need to stop short of the runway, check the runway is clear and there are no aircraft about to land or take off. If the runway is clear, you may backtrack to the cabin as shown.


You may still wish to park at Kenyon Hall Farm Garden Centre, on the south side of the A579.By car, take the M6 to Junction 22 and then turn east on the A579. The farm shop is about a mile up on the right-hand side.
