Our current members fly a variety of aircraft from flexwing-microlights, three axis microlights, light aircraft, helicopters, gyrocopters and aerobatic aircraft. Our membership includes pilots with expertise drawn from the commercial airlines, RAF, flying instructors and Private Pilots with a wealth of experience for you to share.

You may claim £10 per month rebate for completing 2 hours of flight training in any one month*.
As a Student member, on passing your General Skills Test (GST) you will be awarded:
- Your LAC Wings badge
- A grant of £150.00
- Your Student Membership will be upgraded free of charge to Full Membership of the LAC for the remainder of the Membership Flying Year. You will then have full voting rights and enjoy all the benefits of the club;
- You will receive a personalised Landing Card for the remainder of the current Membership year. This will enable you as Pilot in Command to land free of charge at several airfields as detailed on the LAC website;
- Additional grants are available when you add ratings to your licence.
